Il Basilico

Service was top notch. The server spoke good English and explained the items well to us. The place we nicely setup. It's a cozy environment. The food was good. Pizza، salad and dessert were all very good. The prices were also good. I would surely recommend this place.

The restaurant is awesome, stylish and classic. The service is just PERFECT. There's a girl in the restaurant who's a waiter who speaks Georgian, MY NATIVE LANGUAGE! The food is delightful, I can feel it through the menu, literally. An underrated restaurant with enjoyable ways of service, food and comfort. Loved it!

The food it self was great, I got the Tartufata pizza and it has to be one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Also ordered a glass of white wine, asked for the driest one (not sweet) but that wasn’t the case as I did get a very sweet one. Possibly not something I can blame anyone for, as there is a chance that they don’t have any dry wines. Another thing I struggled a little bit with was that there were no English translations nor an English menu, meaning I had to translate most of the thing I thought were interesting just to make sure. Still the service was good and the food was on point

Very good kitchen, nice atmosphere and a popular place. Although the staff help you with translations an English menu would have helped. A good location and fair pricing. For me the Best Cafe gourmand in town. Food quality and presence could be one of the Best in Rennes. A nice range of wines are also presented.

We found Il Basilico to be an excellent restaurant. The Italian cuisine was beautifully cooked, imaginatively presented and generous in quantity. The wine list was small but the offerings excellent. The staff were friendly, fully tolerant of our limited French and their service was prompt. The restaurant is located in the centre of Rennes and the room was modern and comfortable. The price of the meal was reasonable. I am happy to recommend this excellent restaurant in the beautiful city of Rennes.

Visited for dinner whilst in Rennes on a business trip. Very friendly staff and good choice on the menu, has both inside and outside seating. Lovely Amuse-bouche served, very nice suprise. Appetizer was good and pizza was great Would visit again recommend. To note very helpful as my French is limited

An amazing evening! Food was fantastic! The staff were so kind and tried so hard considering the language barrier. Drinks were a delight - we had cocktails.
